She’s all grown up! Penelope Disick (you know, the six-year-old daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick) got her first haircut on Monday, February 11, and social media lost its collective mind over the adorable tress transformation.
“First ever hair cut in all of her enchanting six years ✂️,” her mom Kourtney wrote on Instagram along with two pics of her super cool, leather jacket-wearing daughter modeling the choppy cut.
Trading her long brunette locks for a chin-grazing bob, it looks like P may have taken a cue from one of her famous aunts with the trendy style. “So basically, P is obsessed with me (jk) lol,” Khloe Kardashian captioned an Instagram selfie of her and her niece with their coordinating cropped ‘dos. “How FREAKING CUTE is she with her hair cut???!!!?”
To be clear, this wasn’t your average “first haircut” at the barber shop in one of those seats shaped like a rocket ship that is meant to distract kids from the sharp object being wielded in close proximity to their face. Instead, Mason and Reign’s sis was #blessed with a cut by celeb hair pro (and Kardashian-Jenner fave) Andrew Fitzsimons.
“Gave Penelope her first ever haircut today,” he captioned a pic of the freshly cut cutie on his Instagram Story. “That was pretty special.”
Ironically, Fitzsimons is also the man behind Khloe’s shorter style. As you may have noticed, True’s mom debuted a shoulder-length platinum hair look at Stormi Webster’s first birthday party over the weekend, and it now has her #twinning with her precious niece.
Based on the peace sign she’s flashing in her mom’s Instagram post, it’s safe to say Penelope loves her look — as do her friends and family. Grandma Kris Jenner commented “OMG she is so cute” with the double heart emoji on the pics, while family friend Larsa Pippen replied, “My baby is too trendy.” Kim’s former assistant Stephanie Shepherd also couldn’t get over the cuteness, writing: “Omg she’s a full grown up.”
