In her first official photographed appearance since Prince William's cousin Zara Phillips tied the knot on July 30, Duchess Kate donned a chic navy and ivory ensemble in Birmingham, England on Friday.
The 29-year-old royal, who spent the day alongside Prince William, 29, visiting victims of the recent riots, sported a military-inspired blouse and knee-length skirt by Alexander McQueen. She paired the tailored outfit with simple navy pumps.

Beings that Kate has been applauded for her keen sense of style from the get-go, it's no surprise that some of Hollywood's fashion-savvy A-listers admire the future Queen of England's taste.
Anne Hathaway recently gushed to USA Today, "Can I tell you how grateful I am to Kate Middleton? She is such an advocate for dressing like a lady." The 28-year-old actress also added that Middleton's understated elegance even inspired her to revamp her own wardrobe.
"I'm just very grateful to Kate Middleton for making looking appropriate really fun again," Hathaway said. "So right now my fashion choices are all about Kate Middleton."
