Like Kelly Clarkson sings, "Everybody has a dark side" — and Piper Perabo has apparently decided to indulge hers. On Tuesday, Aug. 6, the usually blonde Covert Affairs actress, 36, showed off a dark new 'do on the Toronto set of her USA Network series.
The star — who has rocked light-colored locks since getting her big break in the 2000 movie Coyote Ugly — styled her brunette hair in long, loose waves. She complemented the new look with a edgy, motorcycle-chic outfit: a black leather jacket, boots, and jeans.
Perabo doesn't mind changing up her hair and makeup for work, but offscreen, she takes a minimalist approach to both. "In my off time, I really go crazy low-maintenance," she told Into the Gloss last year of her hair-care and beauty routine. "I rinse my hair with apple cider vinegar, and it takes all the product out. I'll stop dyeing my hair, and my roots come out."
One product she loves is Rodin Olio Lusso hair oil. "My hair is really too light and fine to put hair oil in the day, but it's nice at night," she explained to ITG. "I'll come home and wash it and not dry it to try to give it a break, and then rub a bunch of hail oil into it, wrap a towel around my head, and go to bed."
