Ray of sunshine! Pregnant Blake Lively can’t stop slaying in Cannes. For her fourth appearance at the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 12, the Cafe Society star, 28, glowed in a calf-length, marigold ensemble.
Lively brought a burst of bright color into a tented luncheon celebrating the Woody Allen–directed film, donning a yellow velvet dress that featured spaghetti straps and a crisscrossed bow waistline, which was secured right above her growing baby bump.
The Shallows actress, whose second pregnancy with husband Ryan Reynolds was exclusively confirmed by Us Weekly last month, paired the vibrant outfit with statement diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, a green and red clutch, and metallic Jimmy Choo sandals.
To top off the entire velvet vibe, the mother of James, 16 months, wore her enviable hair down in tousled waves and chose a statement, pinky-red pout.
Now that Lively is a mother, her perspective has completely shifted. “Everything is different,” the Gossip Girl alum said on Live with Kelly and Michael in April 2015. “You see a balcony and you’re like, ‘Oh God, the hotel needs to demolish this balcony because my child can’t go anywhere near it.’ So, everything is just like, so much more heightened. We’re crying all the time for no reason.”
