Marvel at these moms! Blake Lively managed to pull off underboob cutouts while attending the Thursday, July 21, launch of Target’s Cat & Jack children’s clothing launch in New York City.
The pregnant star of The Shallows, 28, slipped on a Lindsey Thornburg Clark dress ($295 for a similar style, lindseythornburg.com), featuring a tie-front bust, slits on both sides and a midriff cutout that shows a teeny-tiny sliver of skin. She mastered high-low style with a Chanel handbag and Target’s Stella Valle for Target Mind Over Matter ear cuff in gold ($10 on sale, target.com), as well as baubles from Lorraine Schwartz and Anita Ko.
During the launch, the mom to James, 19 months, stunned in a pair of teal embellished sandals. But afterwards, she toned down the glam in a pair of white Converse All Stars to enjoy a treat.
“Milkshake: check. Comfortable shoes: check. Having a slit in your dress to make you feel better about the aforementioned: check,” Lively captioned a July 21 Instagram.
But her postevent shake wasn’t the only sweet moment of the night. Lively, along with husband Ryan Reynolds, brought children from the Covenant House, a national organization with homeless shelters for youth across the country, to enjoy the festivities, which included a photo booth, a temporary tattoo station, nail art, lawn games and more.
Target brand ambassador Jenna Dewan Tatum, who’s mom of Everly, 3, with Channing Tatum, was also in attendance. She teamed a Who What Wear for Target Bardot dress ($35, no longer available) with black Jimmy Choo Daphne platform sandals ($925, us.jimmychoo.com).
Rachel Bilson, who’s also a Target brand ambassador, wore Who What Wear as well. The mom of Briar, 20 months, with partner Hayden Christensen, chose the crepe red printed midi dress ($35, target.com).
