Glowing! Days after announcing via Instagram that she was expecting her second child with Brian Gallagher, Megan Hilty performed at the L.A. Philharmonic’s Walt Disney Concert Hall Opening Night Concert and Gala on Wednesday, September 28.
The Smash alum, 35, stunned in a deep red one-shoulder Slate and Willow gown that featured an abstract floral print. She paired the head-turning ensemble with statement earrings by Anton Heunis. “Finding things to wear for this particular part of pregnancy isn’t easy,” Hilty admitted to Us Weekly. “But I felt gorgeous in this Slate and Willow gown!”
On Saturday, Hilty and her hubby, who already share 2-year-old Viola, posted a sweet pic to Instagram, writing, “#pregnancyannouncement.” The funny snap showed the First Wives Club star in a shirt that said “Eating for two” next to Gallagher, who wore a “Drinking for two” tee that matched.
Already the proud parents of a girl, the couple were delighted to share that they’re now expecting a boy. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome this baby boy into the world and our little family!” Hilty told Us Weekly shortly after her post hit Instagram.
If her second pregnancy is anything like her first, willpower will be a big part of the process. “I want everything I can’t have: sushi, tuna fish. I was never a sweets person, and now I have to have at least one cookie every day,” Hilty dished to Us before welcoming Viola in 2014. “I make my husband’s coffee in the morning, just so I can stick my face in and smell it before I give it to him, because I gave it up. I know you can have stuff in moderation, but I’m leaving it all behind. I really want the whole bottle of wine. Like what’s one glass good for?!”
