Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice eye makeup collection is almost here — and it’s going to be amazing! While the line, which includes a richly-pigmented eyeshadow palette, eye primer, liquid liner and two brushes, doesn’t officially launch until Friday, July 6, RiRi just offered a sneak peek at the super sultry products on Instagram. Oh, and it turns out she had already provided a first look when she rocked the metallic turquoise Evil Genie shade in her “Wild Thoughts” music video earlier this year.
“When I think of Moroccan spice markets, I think of rich, sultry flavors,” Rihanna said in a statement on the Fenty Beauty website. “This palette embodies that. I love that there’s a little dash of everything here. If you only need one palette in your life right now, this is it!”
While the collection has everything you’ll need to create the ultimate statement eye, the Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette is undoubtedly the pièce de résistance. With 16 velvety soft shades that range from shimmering neutrals (think: bronzes and golds) to trendier mattes (i.e. plums, reds and browns) and even some unexpected pops of color in the form of silvery grays and teals, there is no limit to the spicy (pun intended) looks that can be created. Oh, and there are two new brushes — the All Over Eyeshadow Brush 200 and Tapered Blending Blush 210 — coming, too, for a #flawless application.
In order to ensure your look stays put, RiRi is launching the longwear, creaseproof Pro Filt’r Amplifying Eye Primer. While it is meant to be worn under shadow as a way to boost vibrancy and keep everything in place (pro tip: allow it to set for about a minute before putting anything on top), the slightly tinted formula can also work alone as a subtle wash of color.
Last but not least, the Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner is a water-resistant gel formula with a flexible felt tip, which means you it goes on as smoothly as a Rihanna song lyric. While the tip is an average size, RiRi says you can draw everything from the slimmest tightline to the boldest cat eye with ease.
Priced between $20 and $59, the Moroccan Spice collection will be available via Sephora and FentyBeauty.com on July 6. And, if you happen to be in NYC, Fenty is hosting it’s first-ever pop-up shops at Pearl Street Triangle in Brooklyn on Thursday, June 28, and South Street Seaport on Friday, June 29, where you can shop the collection (and so much more!) before it officially debuts next week.
