Sally Hershberger is one of the most respected celebrity hairstylists in the industry, having worked on the famously shiny tresses of Julia Roberts, Blake Lively, and Olivia Wilde. Ahead of the 2015 Academy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 22, where there will be plenty of fancy updos and sleek chignons to fawn over, the hair master has offered up two looks just for Us Weekly to get red carpet ready in 10 minutes or less.

Deep Side Part Chignon

"This super sleek polished hairstyle complements any red carpet look, which works well if you're planning last minute with the wardrobe as well," Hershberger tells Us about Gwyneth Paltrow's 2002 hairstyle.

To get the look, create a deep side part and lightly flatiron your hair if necessary. Then, pull the hair into a low pony and add some gel to get it super sleek. Twist the pony around and secure it with a few pins to create a chignon. Finally, spray your hair with a shine spray, so that it lays flat to the head.

Braided Bun

Nicole Kidman hair

"This easy chignon stands perfectly on its own," Hershberger tells Us of the red carpet style worn by Nicole Kidman to the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. "You can easily add a couple of jeweled pins to make it a real statement."

To get Kidman's look pull your hair back and create a long braid. Then, take the braid and twist it into a chignon and secure it with pins.
