When fashion plates like Jessica Alba and Sarah Jessica Parker are into the same denim line, chances are good that the rest of Hollywood will soon follow suit. And in fact, an entire coterie of celebs have been wearing Paper Denim & Cloth jeans since the brand relaunched last summer.
Alba and Kate Hudson like to rock the line's skinny ankle FLX fit ($188); Parker and Heidi Klum love their MOD classic skinny jeans ($198); and Emma Roberts and Jaime King prefer the EZE boyfriend fit ($218).
According to T Magazine, the label was "one of the first high-priced jeans styles to go viral" more than a decade ago. "They were based on an old pair of Levis 501s…that we had adjusted in terms of fit. And we worked with a facility in Kentucky to get just the right wash," the brand's co-founder Alex Gilbert Gaines told the magazine.
The label's Spring 2013 line has just launched online and will be in stores soon.
