Brunette is so last season! The stars are lightening up for summer, and while Selena Gomez didn’t quite go platinum like Taylor Swift or Emma Stone, she did debut a honey blonde hair color just in time for the warmer temps.
The “Hands to Myself” singer and natural deep brunette, 23, showed off her newly dyed sun-kissed tresses, styled into cascading curls, while wearing a series of ruby red dresses on the streets of NYC on Friday, June 3.

Gomez, who’s been traveling the country nonstop for her Revival Tour, modeled one sparkling plunging number by Balmain and one slinky slip dress by Nili Lotan, both of which she accessorized with metallic sandals and long statement earrings.
That same day, the former Disney Channel darling celebrated National Donut Day with a video of herself lounging in the shimmering Balmain mini while chomping on the frosted snack. She appropriately captioned the giggling Instagram clip, “Happy national donut day.”

The “Kill Em With Kindness” singer made headlines again the next day when her on-again, off-again ex Justin Bieber starting following her on Instagram for the first time since 2014.
