Winning! According to WWD, more than 6.6 billion people were gabbing about New York Fashion Week (aka #NYFW) via Instagram and Twitter this past week, but nobody captured as much attention as, drumroll… Selena Gomez!
The "Good for You" singer, 23, whose next album, Revival, is set to drop Oct. 9, trumped the competition when she shared a photo of herself, clad in a steamy leather romper and heels, at the Polo Ralph Lauren Spring 2016 show on Friday, Sept. 11.
Since then, the photo has garnered 1.5 million likes and 15,000 comments, making it the photo with the most engagement about the weeklong event between Sept. 10 and 15, per Pixlee. For perspective, fellow social media darling Kendall Jenner shared a photo of herself walking the runway at Givenchy, but her post "only" captured 1.1 million likes.
(To be fair, there are still two more days left in NYFW to attempt to beat her!)
The Disney Channel alum, however, had the advantage of a particularly fab pose, coupled with this caption and accompanying self-deprecating hashtags: "Feeling downtown chic. At Polo's cool garden scene at #NYFW. Follow @POLORALPHLAUREN to see more. #imnotamodel #tryinsohard"
