Despite the dropping temps, the Shameless actress, 29, was the embodiment of springtime freshness at the premiere of Showtime’s Billions on Thursday, January 7, in NYC.

“The theme of Emmy’s look last night was ‘Spring Optimism,'” Dior celeb makeup artist Daniel Martin tells Us Weekly. “I wanted her makeup to feel fresh, with washes of lilac, white gold and pink that complemented her baroque print dress.”
Mission accomplished! Not only did Rossum’s pastel makeup look lovely against her gold and green Elsa Schiaparelli dress, it gave her a radiant glow, thanks especially to one product.

“[I used] the Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow in #621 Mirror, a warm gold shade, [all over her face],” Martin explains. “I actually applied with a lip brush, ‘painting’ it on the middle and inner corners of her eyes, on the cupids bow and bridge of nose, which created a fine glitter finish. It resulted in a beautiful ‘glowing effect’ in pictures.”
