Tyga Will Release Clothing Collection With L.A. Streetwear Brand Daniel Patrick

Here’s the T on a brand new fashion fusion. Tyga’s latest collaboration isn’t with another rapper or singer on his new label, Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music. Instead, the “Stimulated” artist, 26, is partnering with Daniel Patrick, a Los Angeles streetwear designer loved by Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin, for an eight-piece line launching on September 22.

Daniel Patrick x T-Raww collection includes a bomber jacket, an oversize T-shirt, a hoodie and a pair of skinny jeans according to a Wednesday, September 14, WWD post. “We wanted to do something minimal and clean and maybe not what regularly known for,” Patrick told the outlet of the line, available at the designer’s Los Angeles store, the website and Revolveman. “And because my aesthetic is minimal and clean, we wanted to stick to that theme.”

Tyga, who’s dating Kylie Jenner (also a DP fan!), has been a longtime fan of that aesthetic. In fact, this partnership came into fruition after Patrick contacted the rapper on Instagram after he wore his label during New York Fashion Week in 2015.

He’s stepping out in Daniel Patrick during this year’s New York Fashion Week, too. He donned a black and white pair of Parachute Track Pants from the brand with a long-sleeved Alexander Wang “Secret Location” sweatshirt and black and white Vans sneakers front row at the Alexander Wang fashion show on September 10.

Tyga, who will appear in Alexander Wang’s fall 2016 ad campaign along with Jenner, Zoe Kravitz and more, also wore a bright orange Daniel Patrick Track Suit with black racing stripes for a Thursday, September 8, party.
