Joe Exotic is in prison, but that’s not stopping the 57-year-old from building his brand. Starting Monday, September 7, you can purchase boxer briefs with the former G.W. Zoo owner’s face on it. That is, if you act fast enough.
The themed undergarments are a part of the Kansas native’s Revenge collection with L.A. based streetwear brand, Odaingerous. A representative for the line tells Us Weekly that there will be styles for both men and women with sizes ranging from XS to XL.
“This collection is full of expertly crafted underwear made to highlight your most treasured assets,” said Odain Watson, CEO of Odaingerous. The designs include everything from animal-print patterns to ones with the zookeeper’s name all over them.
This is the brand’s second collaboration with the Tiger King star. He signed a 6-month deal with Odaingerous this past April and released the first collection in May. The entire limited-edition line — which included face masks, sweatshirts, T-shirts and more — shockingly sold out the same day as its launch. With that being said, it’s likely that the underwear will be a big hit, too.
On the brand’s website, the team noted that Exotic’s Revenge collection represents his “exuberant personality and creative direction.” Judging by the look of the undies, they certainly remind Us of his unique fashion taste.
“So many of the qualities in this collection aligned with the things Joe experienced on and off the show,” the team added. “Odaingerous shows the good, bad & the ugly side of Tiger King in this bold collection.”
Exotic is currently serving 22 years in prison at FMC Fort Worth in Texas. The former Oklahoma resident was convicted on 17 charges of animal abuse and two counts of murder for hire against animal activist Carole Baskin.
