All of the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bras Worn for the Fashion Show Over the Past Decade

The close of the year means a lot of things to a lot of people, but for lingerie fans, it’s all about the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show bringing us a parade of next-level glamorous underthings. But one bra in particular takes the cake: the fabled Fantasy Bra.

Each year, an Angel is plucked from the pack and bestowed the honor of rocking a bra made of out millions of dollars of gemstones and diamonds. And for the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, supermodel Elsa Hosk is the lucky lady who gets to wear the crown, err, shapewear. From the sneak peak Elsa Hosk gave of this year’s sparkler, this one is going to be epic. While we wait for the dazzling design to take its place on the cat walk, let’s take a look back at all of the fantasy bras over the past decade.

Elsa Hosk

Hosk is set to wear 2018’s Fantasy Bralette and matching body chain. The pieces are valued at $1,000,000.

Lais Ribeiro

Ribeiro rocked the Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra designed by Mouawad for the 2017 show. The stunner weighed more than 600 carats and was handset with diamonds, yellow sapphires and blue topaz and 18k gold on a Dream Angels Demi Bra.

Jasmine Tookes

In 2016, Jasmine Tookes wore the $3,000,000 Bright Night Fantasy Bra designed by Eddie Borgo. The 450-carat piece took 700 hours to create and featured 9,000 gemstones.

Lily Aldridge

Lily Aldridge wore the Fireworks Fantasy Bra in 2015. Valued at $2,000,000 the bra, designed by Mouawad, had a detachable belt and was adorned with diamonds, blue topaz and yellow sapphires, and set in 18-karat gold.

Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio

In 2014, VS blessed the universe but not one but two Mouawad-designed fantasy bras. The Brazilian supermodels strut their stuff in London in mirror-image sapphire and ruby and diamond sets that contained 16,000 gemstones and 18-karat-gold body pieces. The set cost $2,000,000 each and took 1,380 hours to create.

Candice Swanepoel

The angel to rock 2013’s Royal Fantasy Bra, designed by Mouwad, was Candice Swanepoel. And it was a moment. Swanepoel rocked a design that was hand set with more than 4,200 stones including rubies, diamonds and yellow sapphires, complete with a matching melt. The dazzler was valued at $10,000,00.

Alessandra Ambrosio

In 2012 Alessandra Ambrosio wore the Floral Fantasy set designed by Long Island’s London Jewelers. The Angel’s solo Fantasy moment was valued at $2,500,000 and was handset with amethysts, sapphires, rubies and diamonds, as well as a removable 20-carat white diamond in the center.

Miranda Kerr

2011 was Miranda Kerr’s moment to rock the Fantasy Treasure Bra designed by London Jewelers. The aqua push-up bra was bedazzled in 142 carats of white and yellow diamonds, pearls, faceted citrine and aquamarine stones and featured two 8-carat white diamonds and two 14-carat yellow diamonds as the centerpiece, bringing the valued to $2,500,000.

Adriana Lima

The Brazilian supermodel was picked to wear the Damiani-designed $2,000,000 Bombshell Fantasy Bra in 2010. The sparkling brassiere took six jewelers over 1,500 hours to complete and featured 60 carats of diamonds and 80 carats of blue sapphires and topazes.

Marissa Miller

In 2009, Miller was picked to rock the Harlequin Fantasy Bra designed by Damiani. The piece, valued at $3,000,000, boasted a 16-carat heart-shaped diamond pendant as well as 2,3000 brilliant cut white, champagne and cognac diamonds for a total of 150 carats.

Adriana Lima

The Angel rocked the $5,000,000 Black Diamond Fantasy bra designed by Martin Katz in 2008. Some details: the Miracle Bra was covered in nearly 4,000 gemstones including two black diamond drops at the center weighing 100 carats, as well as a 120 1-carat round white diamonds.
