When it came time to plan out looks for her sexy, "Your Body" music video, Christina Aguilera knew exactly who to turn to: celebrity hair pro Mark Townsend.
"I love working with Christina, she has been such an inspiration to me for years and years!" Townsend tells Us Weekly about joining forces with The Voice mentor, 31. "For the video, Christina showed me lots of references and photos she had been collecting, and we talked about looks."

Settling on a vision for the video was a breeze for the like-minded pair, Townsend says.
"Christina is such an artist and she is very visual, so I love to collaborate with her and play with hair styles," the stylist says. "She is really into color in her hair, and she has really been liking braids in her hair [lately], so we incorporated those trends into some of the styles."
After sharing a series of teaser videos from "Your Body" throughout the week, Aguilera finally unveiled her finished product September 28. The Melina Matsoukas-directed video shows the Grammy winner rocking a series of daring hairstyles, including long braids, and cotton candy-colored curls.
"I can't wait for my fans to hear this album," Aguilera says in the new issue of Us Weekly (out now). "There a few tracks that I know people are really going to connect to . . . Many of my past albums had clear cut themes and styles, but with this album, I really just put songs on the record that felt good."
