She’s glowing! Kate Hudson has already made Us envious with her amazing Instagrams from a recent Ibiza vacation in early July. And to rub it in further, the Mother’s Day lead, 37, also flaunted her toned and tanned bikini body throughout the trip.
Though we can’t provide an all-expenses-paid adventure to the White Isle, we can share how she got that sunkissed skin thanks to Svetlana Feller, her spray tan artist. Feller, who founded the Spray di Solé self-tanning line, paid special attention to different parts of Hudson’s body for a seamless finished result.
To contour Hudson’s face, Feller used the Spray di Solé Liquid Bronzer with Face Kabuki Brush Starter Kit ($40, squareup.com/store/spray-di-sole). “Work the product into the hollow part of your cheekbone,” she explains to Us Weekly. “Sweep diagonally towards your ear using firm but light strokes to blend the bronzer into place. It will dry immediately. You can use this over makeup in place of your powder bronzer.” Use the contouring powder under the neck and chin for the illusion of a shadow, which gets rid of a double chin. A few strokes across the jawline softens the profile of your face, and swipes along each side of the nose slims and sculpts your bridge.
Feller used the Spray di Solé Sun Gelee Self Tan + Kabuki Body Brush Starter Kit ($56, squareup.com/store/spray-di-sole) for the rest of Hudson’s body. “To fake the look of a six-pack, you want to magnify your natural curves,” she advised. Sun Gelee was applied on Hudson’s torso with a Kabuki Body Brush to achieve this. Feller had Hudson flex her abs and drew two lines on the side of her stomach, adding another line in the middle where the belly button is. To hide love handles (as if Hudson has any!), she added extra bronzer on her sides.
To sculpt the Almost Famous star’s arms, Feller applied the Sun Gelee over her triceps and biceps. She followed suit for Hudson’s gams, tanning over her calves, outer thighs and inner thighs. Pro tip? For true definition before brushing on the product, “put on your heels!” Feller suggests.
If you want a fuller-looking bust, try applying the tanner around your cleavage area. Strokes of the liquid bronzer add the illusion of depth.
