Earlier this week, Kate Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn ditched her normal painted face to go makeup free while running errands in Los Angeles.
Clad in a black tank top and leggings with her hair worn down and loose, Hawn, 66, went au naturel as she toured the site where she is said to be building a new home.
A mother of three and a grandmother of four -- including Kate's sons Ryder, 7, and Bingham, 17 months -- the legendary actress says her secret to aging gracefully is living in the moment.
"There's a lot of dark, but you have to balance it out," the Overboard and Shampoo star told Us Weekly in 2011. "I'm a real optimist. Have the intention to enjoy life and to have a good time. I love being alive. I cherish every moment."
For Hawn, having a good time includes staying active. The actress recently told Anderson Cooper that she tried out a few moves on daughter Kate's stripper pole. "She had it for a while and I played on it as well," Hawn admitted.
"First of all, there is nothing more fun than swinging around a pole. I tried it, and it was the hardest thing . . . to try to get yourself on this pole. There was no sexual connotation to it whatsoever."
