Bachelorette Ali Ramps Up Wedding Planning: New Details!

Who needs over-the-top nuptials?
Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky admits she and fiance of seven months, Roberto Martinez, almost exchanged quickie vows in Vegas.

After the twosome watched fellow Bachelor couple Jason and Molly Mesnick renew their vows during the city's Rock and Roll Half Marathon, "I was like, 'Maybe we should just go with them and get married," Fedotowsky, 26, told UsMagazine.com at L.A.'s KIIS FM Jingle Ball Sunday. "But it would probably upset a few people."
Instead the pair, who plan to spend Christmas in Tampa with his family, are focusing on plans for a 2011 affair. Said the reality star, "I've been looking at a lot of wedding things and I'm always like, 'That looks tacky.'"

Her reasoning? "Maybe it's just the ones I've seen are really matchy, matchy," she told Us. "I kind of want to make it a little different. Very light and airy, I guess, is my theme."
One thing that is set: her bridal party, who will likely wear yellow dresses. "My sister, his sister definitely," said Fedotowsky. "And then I have a couple good friends in my life. I definitely have some in mind."

And while Fedotowsky has told Us she's eyeing Monique Lhuillier to design her gown, she swears she hasn't lost her tomboy edge. "I definitely need to have comfortable shoes," she said. "That's the most important."
