McLean, 33, and his bandmates have been prepping to hit the road with New Kids on the Block.
"He wanted to go in before they opened their new tour," the source explains.

Reps for the singer -- he spent time in rehab in 2001 and 2002 for alcohol and cocaine abuse -- had no comment.
McLean Tweeted over the weekend: "I love u all and wish me luck! I start my sober journey [tomorrow]...See u on the other side!"

4good luck aj.
If you fall down, dust yourself off & get back up. It takes a lot to get "clean." It's not in patient treatment alone. Aftercare is significant, a sponsor, AA mtgs, counseling & often times a half way house until getting better. I wish him well. Keep ur chin up !
Apparently he isn't learning anything from being in rehab. LOSER.
Rehab doesn't work. If you want to get clean and sober do a 12 step program. They are free. Until you are ready to quit, throwing money at it and locking yourself up in basically a hotel/resort for a month won't get you clean.
