History was made on Tuesday's The Biggest Loser finale -- as winner Danny Cahill shed 239 pounds -- more than any other contestant in the NBC show's history.

Usmagazine.com spoke to the 40-year-old land surveyor and father of two from Broken Arrow, Okla., shortly after his big win.

He credited his wife with helping him win. "My wife works out with me, and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have won Biggest Loser," he told Us. "My wife and I have been through a lot -- 430 pounds that she didn't sign up for! She met me at 175 pounds."

Of the $100,000 prize, he said, "She deserves this."

So how will they spent the money?

"My wife and I are going to think about it," he told Us. "There are a lot of needs in our family right now. And I have some debt I need to pay off. You know, my wife has lost almost 60 pounds, and when I came back from the ranch and I saw what she looks like, I was like, 'Oh, my gosh! I’ve got a new wife!' I mean, she's got a new husband, but I got a new wife!"

If you oblivious morons would read it says that SHE deserved the $100,000, which means that he was talking about the $100,000 that she won being the "at home" winner. READ THE ARTICLE, no where does it mention how much HE won, it's what SHE did. Idiots!

I am so glad Danny was The Biggest Loser. He has such a big heart and seems like such a nice guy. The night of the makeovers his daughter touched my heart when she talked about starting her journey. He got his life back. The money is just a bonus.

I am so glad Danny won! I was hoping he would from the start. He has such a big heart and the way he talks about his children and wife just made me like him that much more. AND he is one good looking man to boot! WOW! And Kris, I agree with you! I was so glad Rudy did not win too, the way he treated both Shay and Rebecca was shameful on his part! I think it was great that Rebecca won the $100K...and not only did she win that money, and looks great, BUT she feel in love as well! Her and Daniel are a couple! Congrats to both winners of the night!

Holy crap! Not only does this guy look so much better but he looks 15-20 years younger, Good for him!!

  • December 09, 2009 - 2:46pm Nia

He went from beast to beauty. He's gorgeous!

  • December 09, 2009 - 2:43pm Kris

I am so glad Danny won. I am more happy that Rudy didn't win after he got nasty and turned on Rebecca. He lied to Rebecca therefore his fate was sealed -- he couldn't win. But Rebecca went home and won the $100K, good for her - ha So glad Rudy didn't win!

Yeah this was the first season where I watched every single episode all the way through. Usually I would just fast forward to the weigh ins. I really enjoyed this season and the transformations. They all look amazing! I look forward to seeing Shay come back to the next finale, 100 lbs lighter than she is now! Go Shay, i'm rooting for you! Danny looks awesome! And i'm not a fan of Rebecca's hair...I had no idea who she was until they said her name. SHe's much cuter as a brunette. And Daniel, WOW! He looks amazing as well! Way to go guys!

  • December 09, 2009 - 1:48pm krisa

how about a little accuracy in your reporting? he won $250,000.

  • December 09, 2009 - 1:44pm TJ

Rebecca, the at-home winner of $100,000, looked 20 years older last night. Why did she do that to her hair? She looked so much better as a brunette with a little length.

  • December 09, 2009 - 12:45pm Sara

funny how when you correct the magazine -they remove your posts!! Dumb butts! he won $250,000 not $100,000. Nice reporting and editing!

This is the first season I have watch all the way through. I was so proud of everyone on the show. Both Danny and Rudy deserved to win. Amazing transformations. I am not overweight but I am still so inspired by these people. Congrats on your success and keep it up!!
