Christina Aguilera celebrated her 30th birthday with her love Matthew Rutler in high, yuletide style on Saturday Dec. 18.

Sipping wine and wearing mouse-ear style earmuffs, Aguilera cuddled with Rutler in a white horse-drawn carriage; the duo stayed at Hotel le Lana, a luxury ski resort in Courchevel, France.
Set assistant Rutler befriended Aguilera while she shot Burlesque; they reconnected after her September split from husband Jordan Bratman. She and Bratman, 33 were married for five years and have a son, Max.
Rutler has been "really there for her and is helping her through this difficult time," a pal recently told Us.

How does the star feel about turning 30? "It's better than turning 20, I'll tell you that," she told Ellen DeGeneres last month. "You're more comfortable in your own skin as a woman. You have a better idea of what you want and how to get it. At this time in my life, it's a huge turning point, it's a transitional stage and I'm ready. I'm ready."

4shes really leaving a bad taste in my mouth, ever since the split came to light, she's all over the place with this guy....i feel bad for the kid!
It seems to me that Christina is spending more time with her "new" man these days then with her son. Typical. Christina is a cheater plain and simple. In my eyes she is a $lut. I have NO RESPECT for her or her "new" man. And trust me I use the term "man" very loosely.
Well Laurene, that's Hollywood marriages for ya, there is no rhyme or reason they just don't work.
Have we ever been told exactly why their marriage failed? It was strange and shocking the relationship ended after only 5 years because Miss Christina was over the moon for Bratman. She sang glowing praises for him, what a wonderful man he was ... then poof! It never ceases to amaze me how quickly some marriages tank.
