Influencer Allison Kuch poked fun at comments comparing her daughter’s nose to her own.
“‘You don’t need a nose job, your nose looks great!’” Kuch, 31, said via TikTok on Wednesday, September 23, before tilting her head back and showing the inside of her septum.
“Are we looking at the same person? Because not only is this just, like, literally falling off to one side, it gets better,” she said, pointing at the tip of her nose.
Kuch then gave a closer look at inside of her nose, adding, “You can’t look at that and be like, ‘She’s straight.’” I love you, but now I don’t trust your opinion.”
“What a botched nose job looks like,” Kuch captioned the post.
She continued to poke fun at fans’ comments in her video, joking, “‘She has your nose!!’ Unless my 5-month-old went through 4 rhinoplasties, no, she does not.” (Kuch shares daughters Scottie, 2, and Pepper, 4 months, with husband Isaac Rochell.)
Her fans shared their surprised reactions in the comments section. “I never noticed before but now you mentioned I understand,” one wrote. Another added, “I’ve literally never noticed this before 😩😩.” A third commented, “I never noticed, and now I can’t help but notice. 😭😭.”
Kuch has been open about getting a nose job in the past. In 2019, she shared that she originally broke her nose in a 2007 car accident, but she didn’t go under the knife right away because she “had other injuries [and] was more focused on those other injuries.”
Three years later, Kuch broke her nose again, which created a “crooked zig-zag” look. “I was more worried about the way my nose looked than anything,” she said after visiting a plastic surgeon. “Surgery for me was kind of appealing because you have surgery, you come out looking great, and then that’s it for the rest of your life.”
One year after her nose job, Kuch wasn’t completely happy with her look and felt that the tip of her nose was “falling off to one side.” Her doctor agreed and explained that only 10 percent of patients had a similar experience where “one side of [her] nose collapsed onto [the other] side because it was unsteady.” She then got another surgery but still wasn’t thrilled with her results.
Kuch later saw a different doctor to get a third surgery, which she was pleased with until she developed a bump on one side of her nose. She prepared for a fourth surgery, saying, “At this point, I wanted to remain looking most like myself because I was super scared to have surgery and not look like myself. I wanted to maintain the integrity of my face.”
“I’m so f***ing scared out of my mind because I just want this part of my life to be over,” Kuch said in 2020. “I just wish I could have my own God-given nose back.”
