Demi Lovato went home for the holidays.
After the Camp Rock 2 star missed spending Thanksgiving with her family, she was granted permission to leave the treatment center for Christmas.
"She was allowed to leave for 1/2 day on Christmas Eve and then a full day on Christmas," a source tells UsMagazine.com. "She was back both nights." Lovato celebrated the holiday with her mother, step-father and two sisters.
In November, the 18-year-old star dropped out of her tour with the Jonas Brothers to enter a treatment center "for emotional and physical issues."
While there, Lovato has been making progress. "She is doing good and is in good spirits," a source tells Us. "She is committed to the program."
No end date for the program has been established. "It's entirely up to the treatment to see how long she will be in there," the source says. "She will stay as long as the doctor's tell her she needs to stay."
