Exclusive: Julia Mancuso: Vince Vaughn Was "Talking Smack" at Olympics Hockey Game

Olympic skier Julia Mancuso may have nabbed two silver medals in Vancouver -- but she still got star struck after meeting Vince Vaughn at a hockey game.
"I got Vince Vaughn to sign my hockey ticket," she told UsMagazine.com Monday afternoon.

Mancuso, 25, sat in front of Vaughn, 39, and his wife, Kyla Weber, 31, at the USA. vs. Finaland game last Friday.

"They were funny. They were sitting right behind us, just screaming out, like, 'Go USA!' and talking smack. It was hilarious," she tells Us. "They were quite high energy."
After the U.S. went on to beat Finland 6 to 1 (before losing the gold medal to Canada Sunday night), Mancuso "snuck in a quick hi" to the comic.
Mancuso also opened up to Us about her feud with Lindsey Vonn, 25, calling it "blown out of proportion." (Mancuso said attention paid to Vonn's Sports Illustrated pic hurt the team, Vonn said she was "bummed out" by the accusation. Mancuso was unable to defend her 2006 gold downhill title after Vonn wiped out on the hill before her -- causing her to have to repeat the grueling run.)

Still, they're not exactly BFFs.
"We see each other just only really at team meetings. We both do pretty much our own thing," Mancuso says. "She has a lot of people around that aren't working for the US ski team helping her, and I also have a couple of people traveling with me that aren't part of the US ski team, so we... both have our own entourages and kind of do our own thing."
Mancuso -- who was cheered on by her entire family (dressed in tiaras!) as she medaled in the downhill and combined -- will have another chance for gold in 2014.

"I'm going to keep going," she says. "You know, got to get some more gold revenge."
In the meantime, Mancuso is heading to Germany next week for another competition.
"I'll probably get to go on vacation in, like, April," she says.

Julia Mancuso is ridiculous. Lindsey is a far superior skier and much less whiny than Mancuso who seems to suffer from a "marcia, marcia, marcia" complex. I hope she changes her mind and retires because I don't want to watch another Olympics with her display of poor sportsmanship. Unbelievable that anyone would say she is prettier than Lindsey. You obviously did not watch her ski because without her hair and makeup people to spackle on that face she is quite hideous!!!
If I met Vince Vaughn, I too would be starstruck ;).
I like them both, they're both part of our US team but wow Julia's really pretty! I had no idea cuz people make such a big deal about Lindsey but I honestly think Julia is more attractive.
Vaugh's wife is Canadian. That makes for a good match. @Kalina: unfortunately, runs are scheduled to start at pre-set time intervals and officials at the top don't know what's going on below on the course.
She's so pretty! Ppl. obsess too much about Lindsey Vonn- Mancuso is just as good if not better! Vonn is terribly overrated and honestly does not come across as a very nice person at all. Mancuso ALL the way!
I was shocked when Julia was stopped by officials on her first run to defend her gold medal. The officials should have waited until Vonn cleared the course after her "crash and burn." In my opinion, Julia is AS GOOD AS GOLD. KICK BUTT in 2014!!!
