Kate Winslet Hits Mexico in Bikini After Split

On Monday - the same day she announced her split from husband of nearly seven years, her Revolutionary Road director Sam Mendes -- Kate Winslet was spotted in a bikini on a boat in Mexico with her two children, Joe, 6 and Mia, 9.

In a statement, lawyers said that Winslet, 34, and Mendes, 44 -- who wed in 2003 -- split earlier this year and that it was "entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement."
A source tells UsMagazine.com that the couple's "work schedules were too intense. They just couldn't make it work."

She is so beautiful....a natural kind of beauty - she doesn't need a stitch of make-up---can you say jealous! She is by no means fat....she is the perfect size, especially for having had kids...glad she is moving on to bigger and better things....and taking care of her kids at the same time.
The word "fat" shouldn't even be mentioned here. She looks FABULOUS. I have a tremendous respect for Kate Winslet. Not only is she beautiful, she is one of the classiest celebrities ever (IMO). I know nothing of her personal life, but I admire how she carries herself.
She has not worked since winning her Oscar last year, she took a full year off. Check it out, 2 movies released in 2008, and not another project due until sometime in 2010. "They" can't work out their schedules seems an awful lot like, "I stopped working for a year to focus on my family, but that didn't keep your ego happy, so I'll keep it classy for our children's sake, for full custody of the kids and you can keep your affair out of the media". That's what I'd do. Anything to keep my children with me so my philandering husband can save some face and walk away without a fight.

They sure found the time to have kids. When you love someone you find the time and make it work. And not only that but you WANT to be together and will be together no matter what, and no job would stop you. You sacrifice a little here and there on both parts. Too many people take the easy way out and wait for the seven year itch for an excuse. Marriage is a give and take situation and think of the kids. They probably just fell out of love or there is more to this story then they are not telling.
