Manager: Fantasia "Is Not Responsible" for Breaking Up Marriage

American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is speaking out on rumors that she made a sex tape with a married man, causing his wife, Paula Cook, to file for divorce.

Fantasia's manager, Brian Dickens, tells UsMagazine.com the season 3 champ, 26, is "certain that she is not responsible for the deterioration of Cook's marriage."

"Fantasia will weather this storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges. Fantasia's faith in God, herself and family remain as strong as ever," continues the statement.

Paula Cook filed for divorce from her husband Antwaun in North Carolina, claiming he had a "covert adulterous affair" with Barrino, and alleging they "recorded their illicit activity."
Barrino's manager did not touch upon the rumors of a sex tape.
