Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon to Wed a Third Time

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will be tying the knot for the third time on April 30, which is their two-year wedding anniversary. Expect a similar blowout in 2011, 2012 ... and beyond, as long as they're together.

"We get married every year! That's our thing," Cannon explained to UsMagazine.com at Monday's PepsiCo Feed America Volunteer Day event in NYC.
"So it's going to be our third wedding this year. That's what we'll be doing on the actual [anniversary]...We'll do something...A party or event, just to celebrate."

The Grammy-winning singer is definitely getting more bling from her spouse. Cannon confirmed to Us that he'll be getting his wife another diamond ring for the occasion. "That’s totally right," he said. "This is the third ring I have to buy...It’ll be something different. Something good."

After dating for just six weeks in early 2008, Cannon, 29 and Carey, 40, wed on the singer's private island in The Bahamas in a surprise bash.
"It's nice," Cannon gushed. "We like being married every year."

Nick was a millionaire by the time he was in his late teens. He seems to really love Mariah. She looks blissfully happy with him and she's dropped some of her silly diva tendencies. What's wrong with celebrating if you can?

It would be nice to see their marriage last but I have a weird feeling it wont. She's 40 and he's 29. What's going to happen when she starts to look old enough to be his mother, especially without makeup. I hope he REALLY loves her no matter what.

We all wish we'd be able to snag ourselves a nice cushy cash cow, too. Now STFU and remarry your meal ticket. I can't thank US enough for providing this information on Carey and Cannon. I haven't been able to sleep, not knowing if they would marry or not, hoping they would continue the marriages marathon. Tonight, I'll be able to sleep in peace.
I think it's wonderful that they marry every anniversary. More people should do that and there'd be fewer divorces. Believe me, if I had the good fortune to have that incredible hunk for a husband, I'd marry him every year, too!!
bea......seal and hiedi renew their vows every year as well, they have since they got married and they are going strong. this is a sweet thing to do, showing your spouse you love them so much that you would get married all over again and again and again to them. they do contribute money to charities so what they do with the rest of the money they have earned is their own business.
He should make her a baby, she's 40 now, ok...40 with eternally 12... women in 40 have more pregnant risks than younger. That will make her more mature.
