The outspoken American Idol judge has no problem showing off her assets for the sake of her art. "I don't mind the fascination . . .People are sitting in the barbershop talking about my butt. It's conversational," Minaj told MTV in 2011. "That's what people are gonna do. As long as they're talking about Nicki Minaj, I'm good."

Minaj denied persistent plastic surgery rumors in a February 2013 interview with Extra. "I've never had surgery on my face. They'll see contour and they'll think you had surgery on your nose," she explained. "No, no, no. Look at RuPaul's Drag Race and you'll see how you can make your nose look any shape you want."

Even so, the hip-hop superstar's over-the-top looks may be a thing of the past, with Minaj unveiling a softer, more natural look on recent episodes of American Idol. "I did the crazy stuff and now I kind of want to tone that back," she told Us Weekly while promoting her collaboration with Kmart and ShopYourWay at L.A.'s Fig & Olive March 1 . "It's not toning my personality back, it's just showing, like, I don't only have to do that. I can do this as well."
