Russell Brand and Kristen Wiig are the winners of PETA's annual contest for the sexiest vegetarian celebrities. The quirky comedians beat out other hot vegetarians including Natalie Portman, Joaquin Phoenix, Anne Hathaway and Olivia Wilde.

Brand, 36, has been a vegetarian since the age of 14. In one appearance on Live! With Regis and Kelly, the animal-loving funny man made it clear that fish are not a part of his diet. When asked by Ripa, 40, if he took fish oil to stay sharp, he quipped: "I'm vegetarian. I think it's cruel to squeeze oil out of a fish… Cause they're lovely little guys, aren't they?" He then added: "You shouldn't eat animals; it's mean to them!"
Wiig, 37, credits her vegetarian diet for helping her stay fit. In an interview with Women's Health, the Bridesmaids star explained she maintains a healthy lifestyle by running, doing yoga and because, "I'm a vegetarian. I eat a lot of tofu and soy."

I honestly don't know how Russell Brand is considered sexy at all. And while Kristen Wigg was absolutely hilarious in Bridesmaids, I wouldn't vote her sexiest vegetarian. Olivia Wilde maybe, but if it were up to me, I'd vote Maggie Q hands down. :)
