Exclusive: Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds Spent "Hot" New Year's Eve Together

New year, new romance for Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds?
Fresh off highly publicized, messy divorces, the sexy Proposal costars were spotted "partying the night away" together on New Year's Eve at Bess Bistro (which Bullock owns) in Austin, Tex., a witness tells the new Us Weekly, out now.

"They were very playful," the onlooker says of Bullock, 46, and Reynolds, 34, who were "smiling the whole time and occasionally touching...What a hot -- and quick -- rebound for both of them!"
Indeed, as first reported by Us Weekly, Reynolds and Scarlett Johannson ended their marriage in early December after just two years together; Bullock has reportedly been single since her devastating June divorce from Jesse James following a shocking cheating scandal.

"I'm sure they've bonded over the breakups," a Reynolds insider tells Us. "Going through a divorce is a unique thing to live through."
And while Bullock's rep tells Us that the duo are "nothing except good friends," Reynolds' pal adds that the "chemistry" between the pair was obvious on the 2009 set of The Proposal.
"Ryan always got excited talking about Sandra and liked being around her," the source says.

33Okay, why are you people making conclusions about this ? They have their life and they have it how they want. Either their together, or their not. End of story. You guys need to let friends be friends. That's probably all they are.
They have been friends for awhile so I'm sure they are just helping each other through difficult times. Maybe they'll date....maybe they won't. Let's not jump to conclusions. (I hope they do) I think they are adorable together. I never got him and Scarlet. She seems like such a snob.

I hear this is a rumor, but I am hoping it isn't. If anything, they clearly seem to be establishing a friendship, which is critical in any relationship.
If this is really true about Sandra & Ryan, then I wish them both all the very best. Just because they were seen together doesn't mean they are dating. They could be just very good friends for all we know.

i think they are just friends having a good time and maybe helping each other emotionally. That doesnt mean they are a couple. Is it so hard to just be friends with someone without getting labled a couple? I have loads of male friends as well as female friends. And I don't think people assume my male freinds and I are a couple if we go out. Why lable these two? Besides they are out with friends and not some twosome romantic dinner.

Seriously US? "They were smiling the whole time." When I'm out with a group of friends, I'm usually smiling the whole time too, and laughing, talking and omg! even sometimes touching. Can't a group of friends go out on NYE and have a good time without being a couple?

Ryan seems so much older than his years, so this may work out. I think he needs to be a supportive boyfriend and walk the red carpet with Sandy, when she has to promote a movie or attend an awards show. Ryan was never there for Scarlett. The relationship didn't work out, even though they made it a point to not discuss their relationship or be seen together in public.

That makes perfect sense Shannon, that people shouldn't jump the gun after a break-up, but sometimes, things happen at certain times that we have no control over. I mean, the word "rebound" is such a cliche, I would call it more of an "alternate plan". Everyone needs something to fall back on, and maybe these two fell back on each other. Either way, they should test the waters to see if things work. You never know unless you give it the old college try!!!!
@Brewster: George Lopez was in a happy marriage at the time Sandy helped him with his show. Why would they get tongues wagging, as Sandy has never had a rep for being a homewrecker. In my honest opinion, I think this Sandy/Ryan thing is about two jilted buddies having some fun together, whether with "benefits" or not. Sandy won't rush into anything too soon, as she is concentrating on her new son.
I had a feeling when they made that movie together that they would soon become a couple...even though he was in a relationship....They seem like they would be GREAT together!! they both have amazing personalities!!! I love them both!!!
