Steve Harvey's Ex-Wife Trashes Him in Epic Tirade

Comedian Steve Harvey, 54, has become a love and relationship guru through a slew of bestselling self-help books.
In real life, however, his ex-wife claims he was a disastrous husband. In a trio of YouTube videos that have gone viral, Mary Harvey goes off on the comic -- accusing him of cheating on her constantly and ending their marriage ruthlessly.

"He turned my son against me, had me evicted from my house," Mary says in one clip. (They divorced in 2005.) "I woke up, and everything was gone."
She also alleges that he was unfaithful throughout their 16-year relationship -- adding that his current wife, Marjorie Bridges, was originally his mistress.

Steve Harvey's attorney fired back, saying in a statement: "We are appalled and aware of the videos and other fabricated documents ... which contained false, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous information about Mr. Harvey, his current wife and others."

"We are saddened that the ex-wife has resorted to such devious and selfish behavior, with a reckless disregard for their minor son, her adult son and Mr. Harvey's other children."

9My response is this~I pray that God will completely heal Mary Harvey's emotions & that she will find the strength to forgive herself & others that she felt has gravely wronged her. I am very saddened as woman that her heart was broken and she has lost a lot. To say get over it....It's in the past is much easier said than it is to do. When tragedy or trumatic things happens in our lives some ppl need more time than others to heal. I am saddened by the harsh responses and brutal remarks that ppl have shared. But than I understand when you put things out there for the whole world to hear and view you can expect to receive both the down right nasty, cruel & ugly responses. In summary it's a mean world and we need a power higher than ourselves to help us deal with things in life that later don't go the way we planned them or had hoped for.

I think she made those tapes because he is suing her for being the reason he didn't get his own show on Oprah's network. Not saying that is a good reason to go on a tirade nearly 6 years after the fact but I'm sure that had something to do with it. I do think she should let her anger go or else she will never be happy.
They are divorced, most ppl who are divorced don't have a list of great things to share about their ex's. Perhaps he did have affairs & was a rotten spouse, but that's why it is OVER now. One of the main things is has he learned from his mistakes? Has he turned his life to God? Is he being a good husband & father NOW? It must be difficult for her to see him happy, making millions & being successful. Since the Judge awarded him custody of his kids, that in it self says A LOT. Usually doesn't happen with men. This means NO child support $$$ for her. She needs to let go...and let God.
This is the guy who said men and women can't be just friends. He seems immature and shouldn't be writing self-help books if his own life is a mess. He's one of the last people I'd want to get advice from.
He's been divorce for some time now. His ex sees dollars signs because his career has really taken off and she is not apart of it. I believe she is jealous. Steve always admitted that back in the day wasn't a perfect mate and that he had some growing to do.
He has always said he was not the perfect husband when he was younger & says he's learned from his mistakes. I must say, his book is really good.
It was up to her too--why oh why did she stay if she knew he was such a philanderer?? There's gotta be something wrong with her if no one is siding with her.
Hypocrite! He's writing self help books while cheating on his wife of 16 years. Nice!
