Tony Parker Files for Divorce in Texas
Tony Parker filed his own divorce papers in Texas on Friday, a source close to Parker confirmed to UsMagazine.com. His wife of three years, Eva Longoria, filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

The move comes after the latest Us Weekly reported that Longoria Parker, 35, recently discovered that her husband, 28, has been exchanging personal texts with a mutual friend for nearly a year -- hundreds in just one month.

"Tony is still hoping to keep this as amicable and private as possible," the source tells Us.
Longoria filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, a move that was anything but surprising to Parker. "He was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles," a rep for the NBA star told Us in a statement on Thursday.

The couple met in 2004 and famously wed in a $1.5 million wedding at a 17th century castle in Paris in July 2007.

12I don't understand WHY a famous 25 year old athlete would get married period. Parker is too young to understand what a committed marriage means, nor is he ready stop dating women at that age. His lifestyle is one of privilege where he can have his pick of any women he chooses. He hasn't experienced enough to pick ONE and commit to her the rest of his life. Same thing with Tiger Woods. Too young to be married to ANYBODY because he has not had enough experience to WANT just one mature relationship with a woman. No one woman could satisfy these guys sexual appetite because they are unrealistic in a marriage. I wish they would just stop marrying good women, starting families, and embassing their families and themselves in public.

It seems to happen all the time: Someone (in this case, Tony Parker) falls in love with someone else (Eva Longoria) for many things, but especially for some quality or qualities that person possesses (her ability to support herself, her independence, her not being a clinging vine, etc.). And yet it is those very qualities he comes to resent. People should figure out what they really want in a life partner before someone ends up getting hurt.

Oh please Eva won't get half of Tony's money that's only after 7 years of marriage and they've only been married roughly half of that. it's not like they were ever going to make it to 50 years like some couples they probably supposedly admire did for example Eva Marie Saint & Jeffery Hayden have been married for 59 years or Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward were married nearly 51 when he passed away 2 years ago of course a tv star is totally different than Oscar winning movie stars as three of the names mentioned above are

Get as far away from this woman as possible...she only filed in Cali so she could get 50% of his money. If she paid as much attention to her husband as she did to her stupid tv show, her restaurants, her endorsements etc. etc. she might have retained his interest. But when you so clearly put someone on the back burner, what do you expect?
