Tony Parker wasn't exactly surprised when wife of three years Eva Longoria filed for divorce on Wednesday.

"Eva and Tony have been discussing their situation privately," a rep for Parker, 28, tells UsMagazine.com in a statement. "He was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles."

The new Us Weekly (out now) breaks the news that Longoria, 35, split from her husband after finding hundreds of texts he sent to another woman (rumored to be Erin Barry, the wife of his NBA ex-teammate Brent).

The San Antonio Spurs point guard -- who began dating the Desperate Housewives actress in November 2004 -- is also denying reports that he was the one who initiated the divorce.

"He did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California," Parker's rep tells Us. "He plans to continue to keep their discussions of this matter private."

I had a wife like her..pretty on the outside and a real drip behind closed doors. Always whining and terrible in bed. This is why I'm married to Big Molly now.

This just shows that we don't know what happens behind closed doors. I wish Eva and Tony the best. I respect their privacy during this time. I hope that Eva finds happiness again. I hope Tony realizes what he did was wrong and can work on himself.

To make any marriage work you need to be together in the same place to fufill each other needs, so that there will be no sex texting for either party. Don't get me wrong Tony and Erin you were wrong.

The title of this story is misleading! Us made it sound like a quote from Tony, but when you read it you realize they didn't talk to him. Sad.

When parents decide that they must separate, their children are often left in the middle of the situation. Even in families where both parents have the best interests of the children at heart, figuring out where they will live and who will be responsible for the various parts of raising them is not always easy. Child custody laws in each state help the family courts determine which parent should have custody of the children, where the children should live, and how and when they will communicate with the other parent. custody-laws.org

I agree w/ all of the posters here, and I wsh Eva the best as well.Eva is a beautiful talented woman and she deserves someone who cares about her... I'm so sorry she has to go through this.Somehow I'm not surprised though... and as for Tony being "blindsided" ...I don't think so...wasn't HE the one who cheated on Eva??Even if it was just sending texts to another woman... there is NOTHING innocent about flirting w/ someone else if you're married...everyone knows that... Tony shame on you!!

doesn't matter who did what, with the exception that he cheated. no integrity or morals. he just as bad as jesse james, even worse for not only his wife, but also a former team member.

I am SHOCKED that he could take time out of his busy cheating schedule to speak out about anything. lmao! He is such a waste of space. If he wants to live a single life......then he SHOULD NEVER HAVE GOTTEN MARRIED. He will miss the married life once his worthless a$$ is single again. Keep your head up Eva. You will find REAL and TRUE love in time. Let your heart heal first. God Bless.
