Tony Parker wasn't exactly surprised when wife of three years Eva Longoria filed for divorce on Wednesday.

"Eva and Tony have been discussing their situation privately," a rep for Parker, 28, tells in a statement. "He was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles."

The new Us Weekly (out now) breaks the news that Longoria, 35, split from her husband after finding hundreds of texts he sent to another woman (rumored to be Erin Barry, the wife of his NBA ex-teammate Brent).

The San Antonio Spurs point guard -- who began dating the Desperate Housewives actress in November 2004 -- is also denying reports that he was the one who initiated the divorce.

"He did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California," Parker's rep tells Us. "He plans to continue to keep their discussions of this matter private."
