I'm not a freak just a devoted fan of hers who happens to have oppinions that involve her thats all so don't critize me she's been in the industry for nearly 60 years between stage and screen Amanda had every right to attend the premiere as it's part of the deal of being a movie star but 8 days after a birth is pushing it somewhat don't you think and the press is alot different than it was in the 50's and 60's back then if you outted a pregnant celeb or critized one that had just given birth you lost your access to that star through the studio and their management

Why is the same freak always posting something about Joanne woodward and her miscarriage? Ive had a miscarriage and so have millions of women, get over it already. Amanda needs to put on a bra too, no one wants to see her milk bookies hanging down to her belly button.

She looks healthy I hope she doesnt get as thin as she was before. She is probaly wearing spanx unless she got the Cedars Cienede special. Ceserian than tummy tuck alot of hollywood moms do it.

HOW ARE PEOPLE SAYING SHE LOOKS GOOD? YOU CANNOT SEE HER BODY SHAPE IN THAT FLOWING , LOOSE DRESS. ALL YOU SEE IS ARMS AND THE BOTTOMS OF HER LEGS! PLUS THIS IS A WOMAN WHO WAS NATURALYL VERY THIN. OF COURSE SHES NOT GOING TO LOOK LIKE A FATTIE. AND SORRY TO SAY BUT SHE STILL LOOKS LIKE SHE'S CARRYING.

Physically, it is very unhealthy for a woman to do something like this so soon after having a baby. Woman need to protect their bodies and health more. Your pelvic floor begs you!

that pressure has always come with hollywood unless you've won an oscar or other major film/television award for example Joanne Woodward didn't appear back on the red carpet after her second daughter Melissa was born until six months later when Sweet Bird Of Youth premiered accompanying her husband who was the male lead in the film knew it was her duity to be there to support him though she was actually at that moment in time the bigger star as she had won an Oscar 2 months after they were married and about 6 weeks after she miscarried their first child together something Amanda has yet to experience and hopefully never does

i agree with mother of 1, i have two kids and physically she HAS to be uncomfortable. not to be too gross but she probably is still wearing a huge pad being post-delivery. i woudl do errands and short walks and my spirit was willing but my body needed a rest.

  • April 28, 2010 - 12:35pm ?????

As far as people saying too much too soon, should have stayed home with the baby...whatever....she's fine...she's doing nothing wrong...she obviously has a good husband or nanny that is taking care of it...what does she have to be attached to her kids 24/7 and if she isn't she's a bad mom? Whatever,,,,that's just ridiculous!!!! She is obviously a great mom....

  • April 28, 2010 - 12:33pm ?????

She looks great. I've always thought she was a beautiful woman....pregnant, not pregnant...whatever...gorgeous...

  • April 28, 2010 - 11:48am Mother of 1

Also, to the people that are saying she shouldn't have left the baby. Moms need a break every now and then. Personally I would have spent my time getting a mani/pedi and drinking some starbucks but getting a break is what keeps you sane in the beginning. You're tired, in pain, gross feeling and you this uncontrolable feeling that you HAVE TO take care of the baby when it would sometimes be best if you let someone else change this diaper or give this bottle to the baby.

wow i will probably be at home still crying after i give birth lol but if she wants to go to the red carpet let her o well

  • April 28, 2010 - 11:38am Mother of 1

Just speaking from experience, she was probably very uncomfortable. I had an easy delivery and was wearing my pre-baby sizes a week after having my daugther (don't hate me, they were tight and I didn't look that great but I was proud to be that thin again)but I would be worn out from just going to the gocery store or the bank. I can't imagine what she felt like when she had to be in a hair and make-up chair for hours and then go to an invent. Stars feel too much pressure to get right back out there. It's sad that they are so worried we will forget them. She should be at home in something soft and stretchy and enjoying every minute of her new babies life. They change so fast and she will never be able to get any of those precious moments back. Plus, parents really only have about 10 years of the child being completely sweet and loving all the time before their hormones kick in and they turn into little monsters for the next 8 to 13 years. If you really think about it after a kid hits puberty they won't like you until they're like 23 but then they're too busy.

She looks beautiful here!! Her face is glowing and she is radiating happiness. I believe her when she says she is in love with her little girl, as it is written all over her face and body language. And it IS okay for her to go out for a few hours for WORK... she deserves a night out after 9 dedicated months...

Who cares what she looks like? What is she doing leaving her 8 day old baby to go some "red carpet"??
