Ashlee Simpson: Jess Is "Always Saying, 'I Want a Baby!'"

Ashlee Simpson says her big sister Jessica Simpson can't wait to be a mom.
"She's always saying, 'Oh, I want a baby!'" Ashlee, 24, who welcomed Bronx 10 months ago, tells the October issue of Redbook.
When asked if she envies her single sister, who was dumped by Tony Romo in July, Ashlee admits, "I really don't.

The Melrose Place star, who wed Pete Wentz in May 2008, says "being a mom's so empowering and incredible. I'm one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that's where the best moments come from."
Since having Bronx, Ashlee admits she's "grown up so much.

"The great thing about being pregnant is that you have nine months and it really does prepare you. Your body is changing, and it's such an amazing time to feel that connection," she says.
Ashlee -- who has bragged she could do the splits while nine months pregnant -- says she also kept fit by doing "prenatal yoga, which was a nice way to mellow down and focus on me and Bronx.

"Being pregnant was the healthiest I've ever been in my life," she adds. "Except for the cupcakes."

35I guess I've just never really heard Ashlee talk before, but recently heard/saw her interview with Rachel Ray. Good grief - her voice is so annoying!!??? What a dumba$$. Almost like she's stoned or something. Can't even describe it. I always thought she just looked goony, but she sounds it, as well.
why would anyone ask that question of her? It's a no win situation. If she says no, she ends up putting down her sister. If she says yes, then she looks ungrateful about her own life. But honestly, why would she envy her sister? Her sister is divorced and looking for love. What is there to envy in that when she apparently has found love?
I swear, she makes a TERRIBLE redhead. Give it up, Ashlee! The new and "improved" Melrose will soon be cancelled. NEXT!

What a great thing to say about your sister! Its obvious she thinks Jessica is jealous of her. And maybe she is. Its not up to Ashlee to dig even harder into her wounds. I don't normally side with Jess on anything, but here I think Ashlee could have kept her mouth shut.
Jessica has a great voice if only she doesn't overdo the vocals too much. I'm glad she's ready to settle down.

I've never understood the whole "Jessica Simpson" thing. She isn't talented in any way - I can't bear to watch her sing or act. There are singers who are way more attractive and talented - Carrie Underwood for one. It seems the only way Jess remains in the spotlight is by jumping from one man's bed to the next.

At least Ashlee isn't under her father's thumb, she actually got a guy to stay with her and has a baby and a career. Jess has....a string of men that defies the "good christian/virginity/morality" thing her family portrayed. She needs to find a normal guy, stop trying to be an artist (because she's not), get married and move to some suburb.
