Beyonce and Jay-Z on Blue Ivy: "We Are in Heaven!"

Bey and Jay speak, at last!
On Monday, two days after welcoming their first child together, Beyonce and Jay-Z released a statement to Us Weekly about welcoming daughter Blue Ivy Carter -- dispelling rumors that the little girl was delivered via C-section.
"Hello Hello Baby Blue!" the note from Beyonce, 30, and Jay-Z, 42, begins.
"We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven."

Continues the superstar couple of the birth, which occurred at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC: "She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support."

Jay-Z was so overwhelmed by his first child Saturday that he immediately hit the recording studio to record "Glory," a touching song about the couple's struggle to conceive and the joy of parenthood.

they are selfish rude obnoxious losers who use their money as if it's nothing...stars are earning wayyy too much money than they deserve and should earn...it's absurd..and how they used the hospital and kept others out when they needed to visit their family members too was wayyy out of the line... I hate these two they disgust me!

Why don't they just stop talking already. Happy about a healthy baby, but with all the drama and doubt they have created, they would be better off just keeping it all to themselves. They have plenty of money to just go somewhere and be quiet for awhile.
Because these two have such huge egos other parents were denied access to their children that were in the NICU. Beyonce giving birth is no more important than any other mother having a baby. The hospital should be ashamed of them selves for giving this couple special treatment at the expense of other parents that have children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

I find it odd that you would rather believe the articles speculating a c-section and all other things, and when the article prints their actual true statements you are dumbfounded....
It stated that the baby was born by c-section earlier they must have changed it right after I read and commented on it. I know it really doesn't matter how she came into the world but the article contradicted itself by saying -c-section and then writing their statement at the bottom that said she came naturally.

do a little more reading...the hospital wasn't shut down for them...people always look for outlandish shyt to speculate on. congrats to them, after the loss of one...it's good to be holding your miracle...

Who cares how she gave birth? Jeez, some things should be private. I don't know why she/they would even bother commenting on the speculation. And who cares what they're wearing in the above picture, it doesn't say it was taken after the child was born, jeez. The IQ level on this site is laughable.

The biggest narcissists are also the most arrogant, inconsiderate, selfish people on this planet. You had your special day uninterrupted at the expense of other mothers/fathers who wanted their newborns' day to be special too. And I believe she had natural child birth like I believe that hair on her head is real.

Interesting how Beyonce is so dressed up right after delivering a baby. I don't know of many brand new moms throwing on a blazer and pearls hours after delivery. I also find it strange that no one knew the real name of the baby and that a false C-section report was thrown out there. I am also thinking the insane amount of security for the family, even to the point of keeping other new parents from their babies was extreme and very rude. Did they really think these new parents gave a rat's a$$ about the JayBey baby? Makes you wonder what they were hiding! Not to say I truly believe she wasn't really preggers, but first she says she's due in Feb, then has a full-term baby in January without mention of the early delivery? Plus, there is no mention of Beyonce's condition or how she personally felt about the delivery, not that that matters. I know the couple are secretive, which doesn't help the whole conspiracy thing. Just some things to think about. Very happy though that there is a healthy new baby for the couple.
