Dion and her husband Rene Angelil are already parents to 9-year-old son Rene-Charles.

Last year, Dion revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she had suffered a miscarriage after another IVF attempt.

"We're living the reality of the majority of couples who face these procreation techniques," Angelil told a French-Canadian newspaper in November.

The Grammy-winning singer spoke to Us Weekly recently, before learning of her pregnancy. "We are doing IVF and hoping for the best, " Dion told Us at the time. "My greatest joy would be to announce I'm pregnant!"

Haydock be careful about what you brag about since it can be so easily taken away. Look at the number of people who have lost their jobs, their homes and their families now. Doesn't matter what your age is, what you do or where you are living. It has been happening in record numbers to forty somethings in gated communities like yours, too. Concentrate on the things that do matter like spending time with your kids and telling them that you love them. Those are the things that they will remember not the latest electronic gadget you bought them or how many times you took them for music lessons.

@Haydock you are really a piece of work! Being a young mother does NOT mean you are a bad mother! Nor does it mean you can't have a career and life planned out. BTW nothing is wrong with an apartment or townhouse! A little FYI for you miss SNOB I'm 29 live in a big 4bd 2bath farm house outside of town in the country and I have 3 children, a college degree AND have 1 year left for my Bachelors Degree... I am only a YOUNG 29 years old! My children are raised that while money is needed to pay bills there are MORE IMPORTANT things in life than money! My kids are raised with responsibility and morals! They are raised that it is not nice to sit and brag about what you have or to act like they are BETTER than anyone else! They are 9,7 and 5 yrs old and they know the value of a dollar and that getting an education is important but so is FAMILY. They are raised to be supportive of each other and not to treat other people differently no matter how they look, live or what they wear! We may not live in a "gated community" but we live in the COUNTRY with WONDERFUL trusting neighbors. I'd rather live in the country and have a nice BIG plot of land than some snobby gated community any day! I am sure your children are just as snobby and RUDE as YOU are! You are NOT better than ANY person on this thread just b/c you live in some snobby gated community in a "huge house with a playroom the size of most peoples houses". My kids have a HUGE play area OUTSIDE where they can run and play with the animals or ride their bikes and just enjoy themselves! Who needs a playroom that size anyway? MOST children prefer to be outside playing, climbing trees or just running through out the yard than inside in some playroom! Get over yourself! I am sure my kids have more morals, responsibility and care more for others than YOU do! My kids are quick to help when someone needs it b/c they are hurt or b/c they are in a wheelchair or older and can't do certain things for themselves. My kids have RESPECT for EVERYONE and treats everyone the same no matter how rich or poor they are. It is clear that YOU are not the type of person to care about someone "poorer" than you. Your comment says THAT much about you! You are a pathetic fool to be on here bragging about what you have and being so snobby and rude! I sure as hell would not want to be YOU! I'd NEVER behave that way nor would I teach my kids to act like they are better than anyone else!

  • July 11, 2010 - 9:40am Chill out, already !

I agree the comment made by "stink she always has a son" needing correcting, but lets stop beating up on this child. He/She made their comment & I'm sure gets the point. U should be more appalled re: some of the REAL hateful comments made by other posters on different headings. Be easy !

My spouse & I are in our 40's & we're adopting. We're healthy, workout daily, we're playful, have a home, steady income, values & have lots of luv. Goodness! Ppl r making it seems like ppl in their 40's, just starting parenting r going 2 kick the bucket 2morrow. Geez, Louise, guys! Unfortuantely, there r younger ppl who have passed away, i.e. Brit Murphy. Anything can happen 2 ANYONE. If someone has a child @ 40, I'm hopeful they'll live @ least another 20 yrs to nurture their kid, raise them, etc. Hysterical. U guys r a trip :) Also b'fore going through IVF, u must be medically & psychologically cleared which is more than the average person who decides (or slips up) & brings a child in the world must go through. Just be happy 4 ppl who r responsible & loving no matter what age they decide 2 become parents.

I am quite sure and speaking from experience that Celine is very happy with having two boys. Yes, she may had wished that she was having a girl but when she saw the screen from her scan it did not matter the sex. We just pray for their health.

  • July 11, 2010 - 12:57am Sara sounds like an arrogant snob

Like who needs two carz or a house by 30? A nice townhome should be sufficient. Bigger is not always better idiot. Your bragging reflects a highly inflated ego. Quit with your generalizations. How do you know most ppl are focused by 30? Many ppl dabble in different jobs in their 20s and pursue new interests in their 30s. Not everyone comes from the same cookie cutter.

  • July 10, 2010 - 9:53am Ryan

Happy for her. I can't have biological kids, but having a child is indeed a blessing, whether IVF, adoption, step parenting, whatever. Congrats 2 Celine & fam.

  • July 09, 2010 - 11:51pm Susan

You are beautiful and you deserve the very best in your life. I wish you love happiness and all you can do for the future! Your voice is held around the world. A homeless widow fan!!

  • July 09, 2010 - 10:15pm Patti

As beautiful as it is that she is now blessed with twins, it is sad to think that at their father's age, he probably will not live to see all the things one hopes to enjoy as a part of having that child,

  • July 09, 2010 - 5:44pm jube

I wish I could of done IVF 6 times. Must be nice. Those babies cost 60grand at least to conceive. We could only do 2 and I got pregnant just didnt stay pregnant. Old crappy eggs. It makes me crazy when all these celebs have babies either with donor eggs or IVF and make is sound so easy. Yeah it is if you got the $$ J

  • July 09, 2010 - 4:48pm Sara

I am 31, have 2 kids, own my (nice) home, own 2 cars and have a very lucrative career. Money will not be an issue for me or my family. Am I bragging? No! Just making a point to the "older woman" on here that you can be young and have your life set! I too think Haydock is not only a snob but my guess is she/he/it is also stretching the truth a bit to make themselves look better. Sh!t you're probably sitting in your apt. typing away on ur garage sale computer! So back in ur face, how do you like it?

  • July 09, 2010 - 4:43pm Really?

Haydock: Why did it take you so long in life to make something of yourself? Most people are well educated and focused by the age of 30? Awww I bet you did nothing other than hang in bars waiting for some man to support you rather than educate yourself. I truly feel sorry for your kids as they will grow up with an attitude like their mother. BTW what's wrong with apartments?

  • July 09, 2010 - 4:39pm Very much Loved

FYI Haydock, I was born to a 20 yr old mother who couldn't have loved me more if she tried. She was a single working mother who gave us an awesome childhood. We lived in a stick built house thanks to my mother persuing an education and finding a well paying career, had nice clothes, good food and all the fun things she could afford! Unlike your mother she taught us manners, love and respect!! You come off as a low class snobbish biotch! Yup good thing you were older.

  • July 09, 2010 - 4:06pm #2 Supporter of "Kate Has a Stalker!!!!"

I hope she has a healthy happy pregnancy. I am sure that she could care less what sex they are!!! Unlike this stupid selfish woman who posted "this stinks to have a son", I am sure Celine is not as selfish as this pathetic excuse of a woman. I feel bad for your children whoever you are that posted such selfish garbage!!! You are twisted person and should really seek therapy so that you can appreciate the children that you ARE blessed with! God help them!!!

Finally one celebrity is having a boy(s). Most have had girls up until now. Padma, Christina, Amy, Tiffani, Sofia!!! But I still think she is too old to be having kids.
