Dina Lohan: "This Is So Not Fair to Do to My Child"

A day after Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days behind bars and 90 days in rehab for violating her probation, a source tells UsMagazine.com: "The rehab and jail is unjust. She's so upset."
And so are her parents.
In a statement to AOL's Popeater, the actress' mother Dina said: "This is so not fair to do to my child."
Even before her harsh sentence Tuesday, Lindsay's estranged father Michael declared that he was against his daughter, 24, going to jail and that intense rehab would benefit her more.
On Larry King Live Tuesday night, he said he was in "dismay. But at the same time, [I feel a] little satisfaction that she’s going to a rehab. But the last thing in the world I wanted was for my daughter to go to jail." See the top 10 habits that ruin your appearance.

Though Lindsay denies his claims that she is addicted to prescription drugs, Michael told Larry King: "This girl needs a rehab, she needs help. [Dr. Drew] wanted to help her; he offered to help her a long time ago. If Lindsay’s lawyer and Lindsay would have just listened to us, she would have been in a rehab, she would have been on a way to being clean and sober and have her life back. Instead, she got jail and rehab."

213Dina is just dumb. She didn't even know how many times her child went to rehab on the "Today show". Are you kidding me? Why should anyone else's child or adult have to pay for their mistakes and not Lindsay? She was given many chances to keep herself clean and straighten up her life but she chose not to so Dina needs to wake up. She's not much of a mother when she don't know what the hell is happening in her daughter's life. Put Lindsay in with all the other criminals. Maybe it might straighten her butt up this time.
Dina, you are just as "flaky" and "fake" as your tan. Where are your family values and morals? You should spend some of that $$ made on your daughter's expense, for parenting classes....You think people are going to sympathize with you, please, I hope your fried up brain cells, re-grow for everyone's sake......
Note to mom....your daughter is NOT a child, she is an ADULT who needs to start acting like on. Stop making excuses for her.

All i can say is get over it, your daughter should of never got caught up in that stuff. Its her own fault, maybe jailtime will do her some good. It's time to grow up lindsay!

Hey Momma Lohan - YOU created this monster. Lindsey has been getting away with this stuff for so many years and YOU supported it!! The root cause of her problems is YOU. Responsibility begins at home and apparently you didn't teach her that. As the old saying goes, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I guess finding your precious daughter dead of a drug overdose would be just fine with you. I wonder how much insurance money you have on her and that's why you could care less if she overdoses or not. Maybe in your head Lindsey is worth more to you dead than alive. Trash pure trash. Dina, give it a rest...What would really be unfair, is if your daughter drove under the influence again and killed someone! She apparently did not take her crime seriously, if she wasn't willing to follow through on the punishment. This time, she has no choice.
