Duggar Baby No. 19 Is Born!

The 19th Duggar baby has arrived!
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar welcomed a baby girl, Josie Brooklyn, on Thursday, a TLC rep tells Usmagazine.com.

Josie Brooklyn -- who weighed 1 lb., 6 oz. -- was born at 6:27 p.m. at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Arkansas, the rep tells Us.
The TLC rep previously told TMZ.com that "Michelle, who has been in the hospital recovering from a gallstone, was taken to the OR for an emergency c-section."

Michelle is resting comfortably and the baby is "stable" -- although she's in the neonatal intensive-care unit, the rep said.

"The most important thing right now is for Mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible," added the rep. "The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery."

I hope Josie will get better. But, I agree. This is a sign, don't have any more children. Adopt! Adopt Adopt Adopt!!
ENOUGH iS ENOUGH!!! this prolly wouldn't have happened if you didn't have soo many kids! I see where your coming from when you say you wanna have a bunch of kids but after soo many you should start adopting...i agree with the doctors 100% that say having too many kids is dangerous...&& this wouldn't have happened to Josie if you weren't on your dang 19th child.

God bless this last child that was born so tiny & sick. but, enough is enough!!! the Duggars next pregnancy could be alot worse than Josie's birth. Mother & Child could die. Please stop having children and enjoy the ones you have now. God bless you all....
I have six kids myself and each one is a total blessing. I congratulate the Duggars on their 19th child. I couldn't do it myself, but I think they are wonderful Christian people. I wish them well!

I hope they all do well. What Keep thinking about is when My daughter was teenager she cried abuse because I made her clean the house she lived in. I am surprised they don't think having your older children raising the younger ones as abusive.
I want to let the Duggar family that my family is praying that Michelle and Josie are both recovering. I love your show, your children are a gift from God. I could only have one child but I always wanted more. Michelle take time to heal and rest when ever you can. We hope the show stays on. the Duggars are the sickest most twisted foul family in the States, they should all be sterilized, neutered and spayed.
I of course with Little Miss Josie the Best of health !!!! But I am concerned about Michelle !!! I understand them wanting as many children as God will provide. I couldn't do it LOL But I am worried that Michelle's body & health ... I would want to be sure I was healthy enough to be able to care for all the children God has already blessed me with. Michelle take care of yourself so you can care for all those babies & that grandbaby !! I wish you the best !!
I hope that Michelle and baby Josie are fine,I am ashamed to even be considered apart of the human race right now after reading some of the comments on here.I am 40 years old and am not able to have childern,where do you people get off saying such mean and cruel things about a womman who just gave birth to a premuture baby,wether it be her 1st or 31st.At least they take care of their own,they are not spending your tax dollars or empending on you to support them in any way.Their childern are smart,loveable,well mannered and God fearing people.They are the kind of people we need in this world,considering the way some of our kids are turning out.And as far as her body being able to carry or deliever that many childern,many of you need to take a science class or read your Bible,that is what our body's have been designed for,if you have choosen not to have babies or decided on 1,2,3 or ect.then that what is right for your family,good for you,but that was your descion and I dont see the Duggars judging you for your life style.So I say congratulations Duggars and baby Josie...may God be with you and bring her home well and safe,and if God does decide to bless you with another 1 or 20 more then God bless you,and for those of you who dont like what I have to say..remeber we live in the United States,where there is freedom of speech..but read your bible's cause there is a passage that say's you reap what you sow....
Nice family not money grubbers like J and K. They own commercial real estate, he sells home schooling programs, makes money off books and as a minister I think. Yah TLC gave them furniture for their house big deal look at where J and K live big difference. They don't have Crooked Houses coming and installing houses for the kids or making a motorcycle for the father. They used a roll of plastic out of the garage to make a water slide down the hill and had a ball on it. They pay 28 bucks for used tire for the bus and don't eat steak for sure. All that being said however I think any family having 19 children in today's fragile and resource depleted world are being grossly irresponsible. If they wanted to truly do God's work they should have had 2 or 3 of their own and then adopted the others. Think how wonderful it would have been to look at this loving family with 17 adopted children. To me this would have been so much more an expression of their beliefs and their love of God.
If Mrs. Duggar was a movie star would any of you criticize her for having a 1st baby at her age using gov paid IVF? Why then does it matter that Josie is no 19 and she has done it naturally? For all you who say this is a sign she should stop well I know someone who had preeclampsia with her 1st at 20, I had problems with my 2nd at 24, and I know someone in their mid 20s who had a 28wk birth so does that mean we are incapable of having those ones or more? An awful lot of women have premmies even when they are in the 'prime' of their life 20s - early 30s. From what I've heard the Duggars are raising respectful, well behaved children who when they are older will love and care far more for their parents than most other children. I say pray for Josie and her family as they have a long haul in front of them with many ups and downs.
Hi Mr.and Mrs.Duggar,I just want to you and your whole family of 21 that I ad-mire them all very much because I watch your episodes all ways, and I even set my DVR to record it so I wouldn"t miss it. I even keep some in my DVR, speci-aly the one where you had wedding on your 20th. Anniversary and also told how you had each of your 18 children. I plan to watch it and see when you might bring in Josie Brooklyn, and I also remember where you said you"ll have more. Please when you do have them I wish you all the,the best.P.S. shame on the people bad mouthing these beautiful people during a time of worry for their baby girl. so what that they have so many children?! there are people all around this world in different countries having many children, and its looked down upon in the states bc its different than the norm. i say more power to them bc they are raising their children to be wonderful citizens with morals(something many youngsters lack now a days), AND they are not being a burden on the tax payers by being on state/government assisted programs such as welfare, medicaid, etc. they are living their lives the way that they think God intended for them. so how can you people judge them for that? that's terrible. i only wish that i can raise my children to be as well mannered, and smart as their kids are. The Duggars need to stop breeding! Other than getting pregnant and giving birth, it seems all the other parental responsibilities are handed to the children. As for being financially capable, they may very well be. However, I actually saw the episode of "Extreme Home Makeovers" where they helped the Duggars build the home they are in now - filling it with many freebies at the same time. The Duggars could not do this themselves at the time, financially or otherwise, so provided their sob story to the show to get help to finish their house. Since then, the story has been changed to make it like the Duggars planned, built and completed the house with their own hands. What a burden to put on the kids, as well as rob them of the childhood years of enjoying being just a child! They are the ones carrying on the household.
It's just disgusting. If someone bred their dog this many times the ASPCA would come after them. They would be called inhumane. Yet people defend these people for having this many children. The damage done to this woman's insides must be fairly substantial, and I'd be willing to bet that she can no longer sustain a pregnancy to full term. Her cervix is probably incompetent after that many births. Just because they can financially support this many children, does NOT mean they SHOULD have this many. That argument is full of holes. These people are socially and ethically irresponsible. The disgust me.
judy how do u know tlc is funding their home. they built it. they are not the gosselin's. but i do agree this should be it for them. and don't be hating around the holiday's
