On Sunday, Jennifer Garner went al fresco shopping at The Grove in Los Angeles with daughters Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2 at her side. (Among the stops that day, the gals picked up some dolls at American Girl Place.) Before long, the adorable little girls will have a little brother or sister to play with: During the excursion, their mom, 39, bore an unmistakable baby bump.

The next day, Garner and husband of five years Ben Affleck confirmed to the Associated Press that they're expecting their third child together.

And that's just how the Arthur actress and Affleck, also 39, planned it. "She's always wanted three kids," an insider told Us Weekly. "This was her plan all along."

Garner admitted to W magazine in fall 2009 that her second pregnancy with Seraphina wasn't without some anxiety. She felt "so fat and huge and ugly" dressing for Halloween while seven months pregnant, she said.
