Bill and Giuliana Rancic say that they're toughing it out with their IVF treatments -- sometimes involving more than 60 shots in a month -- to get pregnant.

PHOTOS: Who's due next?

The stars of Giuliana and Bill first opened up about their miscarriage in October. "It was several months of guilt and sadness," Giuliana, 36, told The View.

Now, the couple is optimistic about their chances. "The good news is that IVF did work as we did get pregnant," Giuliana told UsMagazine.com at the launch of the new Volkwagon EOS in Santa Monica on Tuesday.

"Sometimes I have to get [injections] 21 days in a row, three times a day," Giuliana told Us. "It's a lot. But you've got to do it."

Thank goodness for Bill, 39, whose steady hands administer the shots to his needle-fearing wife. "Bill could honestly be on Grey's Anatomy," Giuliana said. "He could be McRancic."

Boasted Bill: "I give a pretty good shot."

If all else fails, the Rancics say they're open to other options -- and even have volunteers among their fans.

"We've gotten probably 40 women who have offered to be surrogates," Giuliana told Us. "And the other day I got an email saying, 'My niece is having a baby, and she's giving it up for adoption and we'd like to give it up to you."

While the couple isn't ready for adoption or surrogacy yet, they say the support has been encouraging. "It's just amazing how many people are incredibly generous and so giving," Giuliana said.

@Tracy: I mentioned to relax about the task of trying to conceive for both Bill and Giuliana. Couples can sometimes get caught up in the treatments that they forget about spending time with one another without worrying about conceiving a baby. It could be an issue with Bill medically but hopefully they have gone that route already and everything looks ok from his end.

Why is everyone assuming there is something wrong with her and that's why they can't get pregnant? And all of these people who say...relax it will happen, again making it seem like it's her fault for being too thin or uptight. Guess what, male factor infertility is just as common as female factor. Perhaps the reason she can't get pregnant is because Bill's little swimmers aren't up to the task. No amount of relaxing is going to fix that. Male factor infertility is just as common as female factor but everyone always assumes it's the woman's fault.

It's sad that a lot of people don't understand adoption. They cling to the 'I want my OWN child' mindset. A TRUE mother will love the child regardless of if it is biologically theirs. I'm not saying adoption is easy or inexpensive, but you don't have to go through an agency either. There are private adoptions and very many different options. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

Guiliana isn't a real celebrity she just interviews them for a living there is a difference. some people feel as though adoption isn't for them so we should butt out

I've heard countless times about people that try too hard to get pregnant and then give up and RELAX for a while and focus on other things, then end up pregnant. If it happens it happens if not there are plenty of precious children that need a loving home.

They seem like a nice couple. My first thought is to maybe slow down a little while and just enjoy being married and being together. Take a break from the stress of trying to conceive and bond as a couple. It seems like it is really stressful to do the treatments. The relaxation away from their work could prove to be successful and surprise!, a bundle of joy could be on their way!

How dare anyone say she is selfish for doing IVF. I have been trying to have a baby for 3 years and you have no idea unless you have gone through this what its like. I think its easy for all of you to stand back and judge when you have no idea emotionally what this does. Its an empty feeling. If you are a parent imagine not having your children and that the life of someone going through infertility. Everytime you think you have hope its taken from you. I have bene through surgeries, menopause, 5 IUi treatments , shots, and everything you can think of. I have a medical issue and until my state covers infertility I will be childless because i dont have 15,000 to have one. Just because she is a celebrity doesnt mean she cant do what she can to have a baby. You people need to stopp saying hurtful things about her. She is battling something that alot of woman are. These things people are saying are uncalled for and selfish.

36 is not old even in fertility years. There are soooo many women who get pregnant well into thier 40's without help my Grandmother was one of them she thought she was going into early menopause at 46 but instead she was pregnant with my aunt who was perfectly healthy and is now 54 years old.

If she would take a break from working for a few months and ate something, she would no doubt get pregnant. She lives in a high-stress job/world. She has to be realistic about why she ISN'T able to be pregnant possibilities.

I wasn't being rude when I said what I said before but pointing out the obvious. I would never knock adoption one of my favorite cousins is adopted. there's plenty of celeb examples I could give that have had children her age or older even before IVF excisted with the same or simillar medical history Sophia Loren for example had her youngest son at 38 in January 1973 after suffering two nearly fatal miscarriages before his older brother was born in December 1968. and that was before IVF was used let alone popular like it is now

Maybe she should try eating something? Many doctors feel at a woman's chances of getting pregnant decrease when they are too thin. I am sure she has probably been told this already but I guess it isn't worth it

Some of you obviously have no clue about the heartache a woman feels when she's unable to get pregnant on her own. Adoption isn't reserved only for couples who can't conceive on their own. If people are that concerned about thousands of unwanted children out there, then go adopt one yourself. Good luck to Bill and Giuliana, I wish them the best.

I really wish them the best.

I love these two and wish them success! Some ppl on here can be so dam heartless! What a shame! Good luck to Bill & Giuliana!

My husband and I are trying to have a baby using IVF and for someone to call it selfish you don't understand. I made a horribly irreversable decision while in an abusive relationship, and IVF is our only option. Unless you have had this struggle then you shouldn't pass judgment. I have found their story helpful because it shows you are not the only one.

@Tracey Gresham O'Neill I find your story more inspiring than this one. I am happy that you adopted a child that you love and I hope that you are successful in your endeavor to give birth.
