Oh, the memories! Three weeks after pulling the plug on her marriage to Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow shared a sweet throwback vacation snapshot of the pair's two children on Thursday, April 17.
"#tbt #luckiestmomever #exumas," the 41-year-old captioned via Twitter. In the photograph, the Oscar winner is sitting on what appears to be a ledge of a boat while her son Moses, 8, and daughter Apple, 9, embrace her. Paltrow is wearing short shorts and a gray T-shirt in front of a gorgeous blue ocean backdrop.
Exumas is one of the places the foursome went on their recent Bahamas trip. At the time, Paltrow tweeted another photo of the ocean, admiring the scenery. "When only Gwyneth and Chris are together, there appears to be some tension," a source told Us of the trip. "But when the kids are with them, they appear to be one big happy family with no cares in the world."
The GOOP blogger has seemingly been in good spirits since announcing her "conscious uncoupling" with the 37-year-old Coldplay rocker last month. After the family returned from their trip to the Bahamas (and the parents took off their wedding rings), Paltrow celebrated Moses' 8th birthday with a big party at her L.A. Brentwood home on April 12.
Nonetheless, Paltrow, who clashed with Martin over parenting through the years, has gone through some hiccups since the split as well. Her grandmother Dorothy Paltrow, from her father's side, passed away in Palm Beach, Fla., earlier this month. She's also been slammed by comedian Joan Rivers for having "a stick up her rear end" and her GOOP CEO Seb Bishop quit after three years.
"A week and a half ago, he abruptly resigned from GOOP," an insider told Us. "It's really suspicious — I think something weird is going on with GOOP."
