Halle Berry Breaks Silence on Custody Battle With Gabriel Aubry

It's all good between Halle Berry and ex Gabriel Aubry -- just ask Halle!
After splitting a year ago, things seemed downright ugly as the Oscar-winning actress, 44, and the model, 34, duked it out over custody of their adorable daughter Nahla, 3, over the past several months.

But Berry, speaking out on the battle for the first time, says that the situation is A-OK. "When there's a child involved, it's a relief when you can resolve things in a good way. Our issues were never about fighting for her," Berry told Extra recently.

"We both know a child needs both her parents. But what I want to say about it is sometimes, as a couple, you reach an impasse. We need a court and a judge to help us work out some of the delicate issues," she explained.
(The duo had specifically been warring over whether Nahla should travel from the L.A. area, where Aubry lives, to NYC, where Berry had been shooting a film. )

"I'm so happy we've arrived at that place -- because for her sake, this is the best way. We both love her more than life," Berry says of their court proceedings.

And I would like to point out that you said it was their reps that were speaking out on behalf of their clients (i.e. Halle). Do you really think her rep would say all those things about her ex without her consent? I don't think so, otherwise they'd have new reps which they don't. Maybe YOU should THINK before you type...
