Jared Padalecki tried to keep it a secret, but his wife just couldn’t help herself! After teasing his fans for several weeks, the Supernatural actor finally confirmed that he and his wife, actress Genevieve Cortese, named their second baby boy Shepherd.
“Ok. There it is, my wife @realGpad just revealed Tom’s little brothers name…. Here goes,” Padalecki, 32, tweeted on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Cortese added: “@jarpad and Shepherd watching some late night #supernatural.”
The proud mom also revealed the cutiepie’s first photo! Cortese shared an adorable snapshot of her hubby standing while his newborn slept on his arm wrapped in a blanket. (Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in July the pair were expecting their second bundle of joy.)
Padalecki and Cortese, 33, tied the knot in February 2010 and announced on Christmas Day about their new addition. Shepherd has now joined big brother Thomas, 21 months.
