Jay-Z Opens Up About Beyonce's Pregnancy

Papa Jay-Z is stoked!
On Thursday, the rapper and hip-hop mogul (real name: Sean Carter) hosted a charity carnival in NYC for the Sean Carter Foundation with wife and mom-to-be Beyonce at his side.

And the 41-year-old piped up to E! News and other reporters -- at last! -- about becoming a dad for the first time.
"I'm excited! I think that is pretty easy," Jay-Z gushed about Beyonce's pregnancy. (The Sean Carter Foundation provides full scholarships to students in need.)
An attendee at Thursday's bash spied Jay-Z and Beyonce, 30, enjoying the fun at the carnival -- riding the ferris wheel!

Although the power couple haven't yet publicly revealed the gender of their baby-to-be, the "Love on Top" chanteuse has already purchased Christian Louboutin baby booties and asked for a "whole wardrobe of baby-girl clothes," according to a source.
