Jessica Alba has mastered the art of multitasking! When work takes the Honest Company cofounder away from home, she just grabs one of her girls and makes it a mommy-daughter getaway. “I go on so many business trips, and they’re usually two to three days. I’ll bring just one at a time and it’ll be like, ‘Mom’s gonna bring you on a special trip,’” the mother of Honor, 8, and Haven, 5, with producer Cash Warren, tells Us Weekly. “We’ll get to have a sleepover, we’ll get to order room service, we’ll get to rent a movie. It’s really fun!”

But bonding time doesn’t always require jet-setting. “I just try to make the time that I spend with them quality,” says the actress, 35. And this is one family that is decidedly just like Us! “We like to go on walks and we like to watch movies and barbecue,” the star dishes. “They love to take a bath and then get back in their pajamas for the rest of the weekend!”

And nothing beats just snuggling up together with a good book. “Honor is reading a series called Amulet. We finished Beezus and Ramona,” says Alba. “Haven loves Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham because I do silly voices. There’s also Freckleface Strawberry, Julianne Moore’s book. She likes funky, funny characters.”

Whether they’re home together gathered around the breakfast table or singing along to the radio on the way to the grocery store, Alba treasures time with her brood: “They just melt my heart and my soul!”

That said, Alba, like any busy mama, still appreciates some "me time" now and then. Her go-to indulgence? “To me, there’s nothing better than a massage!”
