Jon Gosselin: Kate and I Are "Doing Our Best to Co-Parent"
Jon and Kate are doing it for the kids!
Divorced since 2009, former seen-on-reality TV spouses Jon and Kate Gosselin continue to make an effort to play nice for the sake of their eight children.
Though they endured a bitter, public end to their marriage, the Jon + Kate Plus 8 pair -- parents to twins Cara and Madelyn and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Alexis, and Hannah -- are now on better terms.
"We're doing our best to co-parent," Jon -- who was once responsible to fork over $22,000 monthly to Kate in child support -- told Us Weekly at Thursday's SVEDKA Night of a Billion Reality Stars even in Los Angeles. "Sometimes we argue, obviously, so we have our differences in parenting and in life in general, but we only do what we can handle."
Having dated a slew of 20-somethings early on in the wake of his split from Kate, Jon -- who recently broke things off with longterm girlfriend Ellen Ross -- says he's content just playing the field while he tends to his kids at home.
"I'm dating and just taking things slow," he says. "I'm a country boy from Pennsylvania."
