Pregnant Witney Carson is lacing up her ballroom shoes for a very special trio performance on Dancing With the Stars season 35.
“Thank you for all the love yesterday on our third sweet baby coming soon,” Carson, 32, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, August 18, sharing a selfie from inside the DWTS rehearsal studio. “Excited to finally share it with you all.”
Carson rocked low-rise Old Navy jeans and a black Aritzia tank top, raising the hem to show off her bare baby bump.
In a follow-up slide, Carson met her celebrity dance partner. (Carson announced on Good Morning America on Monday, August 17, that she would be paired with Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality Guillermo Rodriguez.)
“When you already love your partner [on] day one,” she captioned Wednesday footage with Rodriguez, 55, in the rehearsal studio.
In the clip, Rodriguez mouthed, “Where have you been?” before Carson lip-synched back, “Nobody knows me like you do,” using the viral TikTok sound.
During her appearance on GMA, the reigning mirrorball champ gushed that she was “so stoked” to dance with Rodriguez.
“I think he is so sweet. He’s so fun,” she said at the time. “That’s exactly what I need in this season of life that I’m in, just someone who’s fun, personable.”
Not only did Carson reveal her DWTS season 35 partnership early, she also announced her pregnancy with baby No. 3 on GMA. (Carson and her husband, Carson McAllister, are already parents of sons Leo, 5, and Jet, 3.)
“I would be lying if I said it wasn’t very daunting. I’ve never been this far along pregnant and competing on Dancing With the Stars, ever,” Carson stated on the morning show. “I don’t know if it’s ever been done. I’m so proud to be a woman, to be creating life and growing this human, and to be able to do the show and compete … is such a huge blessing.”
Carson subsequently shared the happy news via Instagram.
“We’ve been keeping a secret … a new addition to the McAllister gang coming soon!” she wrote alongside footage of her sons holding up ultrasound photos. “We are so grateful and overjoyed to be growing our family.”
Carson’s DWTS peers flooded her comments section with well-wishes.
“So happy for you guys!!!!” Lindsay Arnold, who welcomed her third baby earlier this summer, gushed, while Daniella Karagach, Peta Murgatroyd and Julianne Hough also sent their congratulations.
Carson’s 34 celeb partner, Robert Irwin, added, “SO EXCITED YOU GUYS!!!!!!!”
Carson and Rodriguez will cha-cha their way to the mirrorball alongside Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins and Jackson Olson, as well as even more yet-to-be announced famous faces. The full pro roster also has yet to be revealed.
Dancing With the Stars season 35 premieres concurrently on ABC and Disney+ Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET and streams the next day on Hulu.
