Witney Carson

Witney Carson is a professional ballroom dancer best known for being a pro dancer on Dancing With the Stars. Carson spent her childhood in American Fork, Utah, and began dancing at the age of three. She went on to briefly study ballroom dance at Utah Valley University before leaving to pursue dance professionally.

Carson competed on season 9 of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance in 2012, making it to the top six. She later returned as an all-star competitor in season 10. In 2013, Carson became a troupe dancer on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars before joining the show as a full-time professional during season 18 in 2014.

Carson has appeared on 14 seasons of the dance-competition series, partnered with celebrities like Wayne Brady, Kel Mitchell and Frankie Muniz. During season 19 in 2014, Carson and partner Alfonso Ribeiro emerged victorious, marking her first and only mirrorball trophy. She joined season 33 of DWTS competing with Danny Amendola. They placed fifth in the November 2024 finale. She won her second mirrorball trophy the next year with Robert Irwin. She is set to return for season 35, which is set to air in September 2026.

Carson has been married to husband Carson McAllister since 2016 and the couple share two children together: sons Leo and Jet.
